The Brief
Working on behalf of a Department of Justice probation centre in Doncaster, A1 Windows were tasked with replacing 100 windows across a three-storey building.
Given the scale of the project, the specification needed to accommodate a range of window configurations and privacy requirements while maintaining a cohesive appearance throughout the property.
To meet these requirements, A1 Windows selected ECOSlide® sash windows in a Crystal White finish, incorporating Satin and Cotswold obscure glazing where additional privacy was needed.

A Large-Scale Installation

- 31 frames on the second floor
Alongside the standard window specification, the project also included a number of splayed bay window configurations, requiring careful planning and installation to ensure a seamless finish across the site.

The specification also included:
- Crystal White finish
- Single astragal bar configuration
- Satin obscure glazing
- Cotswold obscure glazing
- Splayed bay window arrangements.
